Conditions of the competition
Format
36-holes, four-ball stroke-play.
Teams of two will take the best score from each hole. Entries are open to all Male and Female members of Breakfast Hill Golf Club with an active GHIN Handicap.
Handicaps
Men receive 90%; Ladies receive 95% of Course Handicap (USGA recommended)
Teams
Members form teams of two players with no more than ten (10) handicap strokes separating teammates. The professional staff will adjust the higher handicap down if necessary to accomplish this rule.
Tee markers & flights
There will be two flights determined by total team index.
Gross and net champions and runners-up will be crowned in both Flights. Championship Flight will compete from the
maroon/black combos. Remaining men will play from the black markers. Seniors (65+) have the option to compete from
the silver markers. Ladies play from the golds. All mixed teams will compete in the second flight.
Entry fee
$85 per player is due prior to the start of the event. Fee includes golf, cart (included but optional), range balls,
team prizes, and special contest prizes. Players are invited to "dine on-their-own" throughout the weekend. Entry fee can be paid in cash or credit card.
Prizes
Gross and net champions in each flight will receive a trophy.
Champions and runners-up will receive Golf Shop prize credit (expires on final day of Golf Shop operation in 2023).
Skins game
Optional $60 (per team) cash skins game. All skins will be awarded per flight over the 36-hole event (not per day). Cash only payment for skins entry.
In the event of extreme weather, the Club will alter competition so that play is completed on the originally scheduled dates.
Players are encouraged to keep their schedule flexible this weekend.
